Sittard is my 2nd home and loved being so close to the carnival.
Opposite you what is now the Hilton, my father went to school.

After 70 years back where I was born.....WONDERFUL....
What an experience to be back in the place where I used to live with my parents, brother and sister.
May live in this beautiful castle, in the middle of the city.
My father had an antiques shop in the castle.
He died when I was 4 years old, and my brother was 2 years old.
My sister still had to to be born.
Tough times but luckily we could still live until 1964.
Then the Dobbelaar family came and bought our castle.
To be back now is beautiful but also many emotional memories.

What a beautiful place to explore the old Sittard or, in my case, to relive. Such a beautiful history in this lovely Casa Mia. Nicely explained on your place mats. A lot of attention in the details to experience the atmosphere a little bit. And the breakfast is certainly not inferior to the noble breakfasts that were served here in the past. Thank you and a lot of success with this beautiful B&B.

An overnight stay at Casa Mia is also a great place, centrally located between the station and the market in Sittard. Quiet location and the room is decorated in style with great attention to detail. The breakfast was very tasty. I'll definitely return
